Request a Speaker: The Speakers Network
The Fair Wisconsin Speakers Network is a non-partisan, statewide effort to inform Wisconsinites about the constitutional ban civil unions and marriage. The Network is made up of hundreds of trained speakers in all corners of the state.
We help Wisconsinites bring something personal to the debate about the ban. Some of our speakers can tell you why their religious convictions compelled them to speak out against the ban, others have gay family members, and others are involved simply because they are morally opposed to writing discrimination into our constitution.
Speakers are equipped to give a 5-10 minute speech, although a range of presentations are available for a variety of formats.
Why is it important to discuss
the civil unions and marriage ban?
The constitutional ban has created a serious public debate in Wisconsin this year.
Because voters will ultimately make the decision, it’s important for every citizen to be well informed about this issue.
How can I become a speaker?
Fair Wisconsin will be providing several trainings throughout the state. You can stay abreast of the schedule for upcoming trainings by visiting this website often.
We organize locally to set up speaking engagements and to foster dialogue on the constitutional ban on civil unions and marriage. Contact info@fairwisconsin.com to get plugged into the campaign in your area.
